Frequently asked questions

What is LifeARC?
LifeARC is a longevity-based financial planning platform from Abacus Global Management (NYSE: ABX). It builds an individual lifespan range from your real health history, so your financial plan can be matched to how long you’re actually likely to live instead of a population average.
How does it work?
Three steps: share your medical records securely; LifeARC reads the clinical details that move longevity and builds your personal lifespan range; you and your advisor match the plan — income, drawdown, Social Security timing — to your real horizon.
What does it cost?
The simplified lifespan estimate and planning illustration are free — no fees, no obligations.
How long does it take?
The simplified estimate takes about a minute. Full reports built from uploaded medical records are typically returned within minutes.
Is this a medical assessment?
No. LifeARC estimates are statistical models for planning purposes — informational and educational tools only, not medical, actuarial, or investment advice, and never a guarantee.
Who is LifeARC for?
Individuals planning retirement income and legacy decisions — LifeARC is intended for people with a minimum of $100,000 in investable assets. Financial advisors also use LifeARC with clients (see For Advisors).
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, handled under HIPAA-aligned operational practices, and we don’t share or sell what you send us.
Who is behind LifeARC?
Abacus Intel — the data science arm of Abacus Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: ABX) — built on twenty years of proprietary longevity data. More on the Why Abacus page.
What’s the difference between a lifespan range and life expectancy?
Life expectancy is a single population average. Your LifeARC is a personalized range built from your health history — a band you can plan to and stress-test, which updates when your health changes.
Can my financial advisor use LifeARC?
Yes — advisors use LifeARC to ground income duration, drawdown, and Social Security timing in a client’s real horizon. Point them to abacuslifearc.com/advisors.
